Welcome to North Bradley Baptist Church
Today our Pastor Ben Midgley, Read and preached from Genesis Chapter 25 V28-34
This portion of scripture gives us the account of a very expensive meal! Some people have got the money, others seem to have the sense, and the ones with the sense usually end up with the money. The key seems to be knowing the value of things. What Price you’d pay for a meal.
Study points 29-30 and Jacob’s sod pottage; V31-34a Jacob loved Esau, V34b Bazaar.
Thank you for listening to this Podcast we sincerely hope, the message is a blessing to you.

Welcome to North Bradley Baptist Church
Today our Pastor Ben Midgley, Read and preached from Genesis Chapter 25v19-28
This deals with the birth of Isaac and Rebekah’s twin boys, Jacob and Eau. These accounts all form part of the history of God’s chosen people, and as we study them perhaps we can see something of ourselves in them. Their need of God, their overcoming of adversity, and their decisions, all of which set them apart as ‘The Chosen’
Study points 19-22 need of God, V23-26 He will overcome, V27-28 Must choose.

Welcome to North Bradley Baptist Church
Today our Pastor Ben Midgley, Read Matthew Chapter 15 verses 29-38. and it tells of Jesus ‘feeding the 4000 men with a few loaves and fishes(not 5000 this time). I see three good encouragements to ‘Praise the God of Israel’ in these verses: He can meet our needs, He can forgive our sins, and He can visit ordinary people like you and me.
Study: Generally miraculous, Comparatively disappointing and Intimately Impressive
Thank you for listening to this Podcast we sincerely hope, the message is a blessing to you.

Welcome to North Bradley Baptist Church
Today our Pastor Ben Midgley, Read Matthew Chapter 15 verses 21-28. It tells us of Jesus’ journey into Lebanon, and the simple faith of the women He meets there. How refreshing this is after having to wrestle with the stubborn attitudes of people who ought to know better at home. Jesus delights in her way He can’t delight in them, and it reminds us to be very meek and humble in our dealings with our Lord.
Study points V21 Leaving that place, V22-23 A Canaanite women, and V24-38Only the lost sheep of Israel.
Thank you for listening to this Podcast we sincerely hope, the message is a blessing to you.

Welcome to North Bradley Baptist Church
Today our Pastor Ben Midgley, Read and preached from Genesis Chapter 25 V12-18.
The passage looks at the life Ishmael, a man who received God’s blessings in a number of regards, but who never received a real vision or purpose. The consequence is that Ishmael ends up disappearing from the pages of God’s book, and his descendants become a byword for rootless. It shows us how precious our mission is, and the solid rock we are founded on.
Study points V12-18 Ishmaels line, V12-16 The God of this age, V17 falling into the pit, and V18 Leading others astray.

Welcome to North Bradley Baptist Church
Today our Pastor Ben Midgley, Read and preached from Genesis Chapter 25 v1-11, which is Abraham’s Obituary and gives us the opportunity to take stock of the life of this great man of God. We have been getting to know him over the course of 25 sermons or so since his name was first mentioned in chapter 10 nearly a year ago. So it’s a time of sad parting, and the beginning of new things, and a time to make a few assessments on the remarkable life he lived.
Study points V1&6 Abraham as a Husband, V2-6 Abraham the farther, and V7-11 Abraham as a citizen.

Today our Pastor Ben Midgley, Read Matthew Chapter 15 verses 1-20. Which brings us to Jesus in Galilee, disputing with the Legal Experts down from the Capital. The debate focuses on the relationship between ‘tradition’, and ‘commandment’ and raises important questions for us al as we seek to practice the Christian faith. Jesus called for reformation of the religious establishment back then, is He calling us to Reformation Today?
Study points V1-6 Submission to tradition, V7-11 Submission to Idols, and V12-20 Submission to GOD

He is risen, He is risen indeed!
You may have wondered why Christians make such a big fuss about Easter. You might think it all ended with the death of Jesus on the cross.
You might want to take another look.
Jesus was abused and taunted. Yet He went through with it so that we could know God’s forgiveness, and live differently.
Christians believe that the story didn’t end at the cross. We believe that Jesus not only died but rose from the dead and is alive today.
Come to church this Easter and join us as we celebrate the Risen King the saviour of the world who is changing lives today.

Bad parenting cannot be under-estimated in terms of it's long term destructive effects. It affects Christians and non-Christians alike.
